4Site Recruitment are representing a leading main contractor specialising in luxury high-end residential projects across Central London. We are currently seeking a meticulous and experienced Estimator to join their commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator looking to work on prestigious, architecturally-led residential schemes with a contractor renowned for quality and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for high-end residential projects.

• Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate take-offs and pricing.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather accurate pricing and project information.

• Build and maintain a library of costs, supplier rates, and subcontractor databases.

• Work closely with pre-construction and commercial teams to develop value engineering options and construction methodologies.

• Assist with risk analysis, tender adjudications, and cost planning during early project stages.

• Ensure all estimates are completed in line with company standards and submission deadlines.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within the high-end residential or bespoke construction sector.

• Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and pricing in the London market.

• Ability to interpret architectural and technical drawings and specifications.

• Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail.

• Proficiency with estimating software and Excel (e.g. ConQuest, Causeway, Bluebeam or similar).

• Organised and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tenders concurrently.
