Junior Project Manager – Commercial Fit Out
Location: Greater London / South East
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 (DOE)

A well-established commercial fit out contractor is looking to appoint a Junior Project Manager to support the delivery of office and retail fit out projects across Greater London. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in commercial interiors who is ready to step up or further develop their project management career.


The Role:

You will assist the Senior Project Manager in managing the delivery of CAT A and CAT B commercial fit out projects. Projects range in value from £500,000 to £5 million and typically last between 3 to 9 months. You will work closely with site teams, clients and consultants, and gradually take on more responsibility across programming, cost control and client liaison.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the management of commercial office and retail fit out projects

  • Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and clients

  • Monitoring project programmes (MS Project or similar)

  • Helping with budget tracking, variations and commercial reporting

  • Ensuring quality, health and safety and compliance on site

  • Learning and developing under experienced senior managers


What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a site or project support role within commercial fit out

  • Background: Either trade-qualified or educated in construction/project management

  • Skills: Good communication skills, basic programming knowledge, organised and commercially aware

  • Tickets: CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid desirable but not essential
