Job Title: Project Manager – Office Fit Out

Day Rate: £300 – £325 per day DOE

About the Role:
4Site Recruitment are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-spec office fit out in Sheffield. This role involves overseeing the project from pre-start through to final handover, ensuring it’s delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Pre-Start:
-
Lead subcontractor pre-start meetings and take minutes

Set up the site in line with the PCI (Pre-Construction Information)

Prepare and organise all site documentation
On Site:
-
Manage full project delivery in line with scope, programme, and quality targets

Conduct site inductions and approve all RAMS
-
Chair subcontractor meetings and record actions
-
Ensure day-to-day site activity complies with health & safety standards

Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and consultants

Track progress against the programme and report any deviations

Conduct interim snagging, testing, and void closures using Site Audit Pro or similar
Project Completion:
-
Compile and manage subcontractor snagging lists
-
Ensure all snags are resolved ahead of handover

Ensure the site is “sparkle clean” for final handover
Requirements
-
5+ years’ experience as a Construction Project Manager, ideally in office fit-outs
-
Full lifecycle project experience from pre-start to handover
-
Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management, and H&S legislation

Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
-
Competent with MS Office and project tracking software
