Project Manager - Data Centre Project (Waltham Cross)

Salary: Up to £80,000 + benefits (DOE)

4Site Recruitment is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a high-performing project team delivering a major new-build Administrative Building as part of a leading data centre campus in Waltham Cross. This 40-week project involves the installation of a structural steel frame with specialist cladding, the full fit-out of internal offices, kitchen and breakout spaces, and a complete M&E package. The role offers the chance to work on a high-profile development within the fast-growing critical infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the project from conception to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop and update the master construction programme with the Contracts Manager, tracking key milestones.
• Manage and coordinate project resources, fostering a high-performance culture within the site team.
• Implement robust health and safety systems, maintaining an excellent safety culture.
• Oversee build quality and manage project costs, ensuring commercial targets are met.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing clear and concise project updates.

Requirements:

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
• 8+ years' experience in construction, including structural and civil building works.
• Data centre experience highly desirable (recent experience preferred).
• Proven ability to manage complex construction projects and lead teams effectively.
• Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project scheduling software.
