4Sire are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Estimator to join our client, a leading main contractor specialising in the super-prime residential property market in Central London.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate project costings, managing a team effectively, and delivering competitive bids while maintaining profitability. A strong understanding of high-end residential construction, attention to detail, and leadership skills are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and manage the estimating team, ensuring seamless collaboration and productivity.
• Provide detailed and accurate costings for labour, materials, and equipment.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and supply chains to ensure smooth bid preparation.
• Resolve design or specification discrepancies with internal and external teams.
• Keep company rates updated in partnership with the commercial team.
• Present cost analysis and variance reports to senior management.
• Drive cost control measures and provide assurance on budgets for tenders.

Skills & Requirements

• Strong expertise in high-end residential construction methodologies.
• Experience pricing in-house trades is advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency in Bluebeam and Excel.
• Highly analytical with excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and maintain strategic focus.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients, designers, and stakeholders.
• Background in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management is beneficial.
