Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Performing detailed cost analysis and preparing accurate budget estimates.
- Creating and maintaining detailed bills of quantities.
- Evaluating tender documents and overseeing the tendering process.
- Negotiating contracts with contractors and suppliers to secure the best value.
- Conducting risk assessments and managing cost variations.
- Collaborating with project managers, architects, and engineers to achieve project objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience as an Estimator in residential projects.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Exceptional analytical and numerical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
