Position Overview: We are currently seeking a talented Quantity Surveyor to join our clients dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing costs and contractual matters on our commercial projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting cost estimates and preparing tender documents
• Procuring subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Negotiating contracts and agreements with suppliers and subcontractors
• Managing project budgets and cost control throughout the construction process
• Assessing and valuing variations to the contract
• Providing commercial advice to project teams and stakeholders
• Preparing and submitting monthly cost reports
• Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and industry standards
• Contributing to the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• Strong knowledge and background in commercial social housing and new build projects
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant Quantity Surveying software
