Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Estimator to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs for commercial steelwork new build projects, ensuring they are completed within budget and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing project specifications and drawings to understand project requirements
• Quantifying materials, labor, and equipment required for each project
• Obtaining and analyzing subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Preparing comprehensive cost estimates, including labor, materials, and overheads
• Collaborating with project managers and engineers to develop cost-effective solutions
• Presenting estimates to clients and stakeholders in a clear and professional manner
• Monitoring project costs and providing ongoing cost management support
• Contributing to the development and improvement of estimating processes and procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial steelwork new build projects
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and costs
• Attention to detail and accuracy in estimating costs
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office suite
