Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for your next challenge in the commercial fit-out sector? We are working with a leading main contractor that delivers high-quality office fit-out and refurbishment projects across London and the Home Counties.
The Role:
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing fast-track fit-out projects ranging from £50K to £1M, ensuring smooth delivery from start to finish. You will lead a multi-disciplined team, manage subcontractors, oversee programmes, budgets, and health & safety, and act as the key liaison between clients and project teams.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee multiple commercial fit-out projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget

Manage subcontractors, site teams, and client expectations

Ensure health & safety compliance, including risk assessments and method statements

Monitor project progress, reporting on costs and timelines

Attend and lead client and project team meetings

Conduct regular site inspections, snagging, and safety audits

Contribute to programme planning and scheduling using planning software
Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Manager in commercial fit-out

Background working for a main contractor

Strong understanding of the construction process

Ability to manage subcontractors, programmes, and costs

Experience with health & safety management

Trade background, technical qualification, or construction-related degree (desirable)
