4Site Recruitment is currently working with a prestigious main contractor in Central London to source a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team. With a strong reputation for delivering super prime residential refurbishments in some of London’s most exclusive areas, this contractor offers the opportunity to work on exceptional, high-quality projects.

About the Role:
As Project Quantity Surveyor, you will play a vital role in the commercial delivery of high-end residential schemes. Working alongside senior commercial staff, you’ll be responsible for managing cost control, procurement, subcontractor packages, and supporting the financial reporting and performance of your projects. This is a great opportunity for a QS looking to step into more responsibility and progress within a highly regarded business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing day-to-day commercial duties across multiple live projects

  • Preparing tender documents, take-offs, and cost plans

  • Procuring subcontractor packages and negotiating contracts

  • Monitoring project budgets, variations, and valuations

  • Working closely with site and project management teams

  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly CVRs and final accounts

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in high-end or prime residential refurbishment

  • Solid understanding of JCT contracts and UK construction processes

  • Strong numeracy, analytical, and commercial awareness

  • Ability to manage multiple subcontractor packages independently

  • Clear communicator with a collaborative, team-focused mindset

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent; progress towards RICS chartership is a bonus
