4Site Recruitment an experienced Finishing Manager to join a leading residential and commercial contractor to contribute to prestigious site across Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected team delivering high-quality sealing and finishing works for major Tier 1 contractors.

The Role:

As Finishing Manager, you’ll take ownership of the sealing stage of complex commercial projects, overseeing specialist operatives and ensuring impeccable standards. This role also includes managing general finishing on site when sealing workload is lighter.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop sealing teams – introducing new products, methods, and training.

• Manage and monitor quality control across multiple projects (some sealing works take place months after installation).

• Attend site meetings, liaise with clients, trades, and internal teams to ensure smooth coordination.

• Programme and manage site resources effectively.

• Maintain accurate records for progress and additional payment claims using digital systems.

• Step into wider finishing management duties when sealing requirements are minimal.

Ideal Candidate:

• Background in finishing/sealing with experience on residential or commercial projects.

• A trade background is highly beneficial for staff training and development.

• Strong communicator and capable team leader.

• Organised, versatile, and confident managing both people and process.

• Comfortable working primarily in Central London with flexibility for occasional travel.

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications.

• Gold NVQ qualification.

• Experience in either residential or commercial sectors welcome.

• UK experience not essential.

Package:

• PAYE Salary: Up to £60,000 (day rate option offered)

• Hours: 8am–5pm (very occasional weekends/nights)
