We’re looking for an experienced Estimator to join a well-established contractor renowned for delivering some of London’s most exclusive high-end residential projects, typically ranging from £5m–£10m in value.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute professional with a background in super prime residential construction to play a key role in the pre-construction and tendering process across multiple design-led scheme, both new builds and complex refurbishments, throughout London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for high-end residential projects

• Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to produce accurate pricing

• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations

• Work closely with project managers, architects, and consultants during the pre-construction phase

• Assist in developing project budgets and value engineering options where appropriate

• Track market trends and provide commercial insight into cost planning and forecasting

• Ensure compliance with company processes and industry standards

• Support handovers to delivery teams, ensuring clarity on scope and budget expectations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Estimator within high-end or super prime residential construction

• Strong knowledge of current market rates, materials, and subcontractor pricing

• Experience working on projects ranging from £5m–£10m in value

• Able to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings

• Strong analytical, numeracy, and negotiation skills

• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel

• Detail-oriented with a proactive and methodical approach

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
