We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter / Multi-Trader to join a growing maintenance team working across commercial and residential properties throughout London.
This is a mobile role suited to someone with a strong carpentry background and broad maintenance experience across multiple trades. The successful candidate will take pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- General carpentry and maintenance works
- Repairing chipped or damaged woodwork
- Installing and repairing doors, cupboard doors, and door closers
- Door adjustments and alignment
- Furniture repairs
- Installing shelves and window restrictors
- General handyperson and maintenance duties
- Procuring materials and equipment required for works
- Completing job sheets and reports via mobile app technology
- Travelling between sites across London
Requirements
- Strong carpentry experience essential
- Multi-trade experience including basic plumbing, painting, and general repairs
- Minimum 5 years’ experience within the building or maintenance industry
- Previous experience in commercial or residential maintenance environments
- Good understanding of health & safety procedures
- City & Guilds qualification or equivalent preferred
- Full UK Driving Licence beneficial but not essential
- Comfortable using smartphones and handheld technology
- Reliable, hardworking, and flexible approach to work
- Ability to work overtime or out-of-hours when required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
