Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner / Bespoke Carpenter
Job Overview
We are currently recruiting experienced Cabinet Makers, Bench Joiners, and Bespoke Carpenters for a busy workshop with ongoing work for a minimum of 2 months, with the potential for extension.
Location
- Workshop-based role with on-site parking available
- Occasional installation work on-site (optional, depending on location)
Pay
- £210–£240 per day
- Overtime and weekend work paid at time and a quarter
Hours
- 07:00 – 16:00
- Two 30-minute breaks
- 8 hours paid per day
Duties
- Bench joinery and workshop-based carpentry
- Manufacturing high-end bespoke joinery, including kitchens, wardrobes, and fitted furniture
- Reading and working from technical drawings
- Working efficiently as part of a skilled workshop team
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
Requirements
- Proven experience in bench joinery and/or high-end second fix carpentry
- NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Carpentry & Joinery (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality finishes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable with a positive, hardworking attitude
