General Builder – RG9 6AB

4Site Recruitment are looking for an experienced General Builder to join a large construction site in RG9 6AB.

Job Details:

• Rate: £24.00 p/h CIS
• Hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm
• Paid: 8.5 hours per day
• Duration: 2–3 months
• CSCS: Required
• Parking: Available
• Work: Outside
• Weekend work: Not currently confirmed

Duties:

• Installing cavity wall insulation batts and boards
• Installing wall ties
• Laying Damp Proof Course (DPC)
• Installing cavity fire barriers/fire stops
• General building and labouring duties
• Assisting bricklayers and other trades
• Keeping the work area clean and safe

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS card
• Previous construction experience
• General building, skilled labouring or handyman experience
• Experience with insulation, DPC, wall ties or fire stopping would be an advantage
• Good understanding of site health & safety

Site Information:

• Large construction site
• 5-point PPE required at all times
• Smoke-free site – smoking is only permitted off-site during breaks
