Working Plumbing Foreman
Location: Central London
Office: Moorgate
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum
Hours: 8–9 hours per day, depending on project
We are currently looking for an experienced Working Plumbing Foreman to join a growing team working across a range of commercial projects throughout Central London.
This is a 50/50 hands-on and management role, ideal for an experienced plumber who is ready to take the next step into a Foreman position while remaining actively involved with the plumbing works on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and leading teams of up to 8 plumbers/tradesmen, depending on project size.
- Remaining hands-on with plumbing installation works alongside the team.
- Carrying out quality checks and ensuring works are completed to the required standard.
- Conducting Safe Starts, toolbox talks and site briefings where required.
- Completing daily site diaries and relevant site paperwork.
- Ordering and managing materials.
- Planning and coordinating plumbing works on site.
- Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and within programme.
- Liaising with Project Managers and Site Managers.
- Reporting directly to the Project Manager on smaller projects.
- Working under the Site Manager on larger projects and taking responsibility for the plumbing team.
- Coordinating plumbing works alongside other trades.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Plumbing Foreman, Working Foreman or Senior Plumber.
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing – essential.
- Blue CSCS/JIB Plumbing Card – essential.
- Gold CSCS/JIB card – advantageous.
- Strong commercial plumbing installation experience.
- Experience supervising and leading other plumbers.
- Ability to work confidently both on the tools and in a supervisory capacity.
- Good understanding of site health & safety requirements.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Commercial fit-out experience is highly desirable.
- Data centre experience would be advantageous.
