Assistant Estimator – Heritage & Restoration

4Site Recruitment is working with a well-established specialist contractor based in London, known for its work on historic buildings, heritage restoration and high-quality conservation projects.

This is an opportunity for a Junior or Assistant Estimator to join an experienced team, working closely with an Estimating Manager who has been with the business for over 20 years.

You'll gain hands-on experience across the full estimating process, from reviewing tender documents and preparing costings through to subcontractor enquiries, pricing and tender submissions.

The aim is to develop someone who can take on more responsibility and progress into an Estimator position within the next 2–3 years.

What they're looking for:

• Experience in an Assistant Estimator or Junior Estimator role within construction.

• A background in high-end residential, heritage or restoration projects.

• An understanding of estimating, tendering and construction costs.

• Good attention to detail and a willingness to learn from an experienced team.

• Someone looking to build a long-term career in estimating and take the next step professionally.
