Project Manager – Client Side

Commercial Office Fit-Out | London

We are recruiting for an established project management consultancy specialising in commercial office fit-out, workplace transformation and relocation projects.

This is a client-side role, managing projects from initial feasibility and budgeting through to procurement, construction and handover. The successful candidate will act as the main point of contact for clients, coordinating consultants, contractors and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from pre-construction through to practical completion.

  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates on programme, costs, risks and project progress.

  • Prepare project programmes, cost plans, budgets and tender documentation.

  • Appoint and coordinate external consultants, contractors and design teams.

  • Manage the tender process, review submissions and challenge costs where required.

  • Liaise with landlords on building requirements, approvals and licence-to-alter applications.

  • Oversee contract administration, valuations, variations and JCT documentation.

  • Carry out regular site visits, chair progress meetings and manage project delivery.

  • Coordinate handover documentation, compliance certificates and practical completion.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years' experience delivering commercial fit-out projects, ideally within the office sector.

  • Background in client-side project management, construction or commercial pre-construction.

  • Strong understanding of cost planning, procurement, programming and value engineering.

  • Good knowledge of RIBA stages, JCT contracts and the licence-to-alter process.

  • Confident managing clients, consultants and contractors.

  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills.

This is an opportunity to join a specialist consultancy working closely with clients on office transformation projects, with responsibility across the full project lifecycle.
