4Site is looking for a Buyer to join our client based in London.

Established for over 10 years, our client completes prime residential refurbishment projects throughout prestigious areas of London. They are a growing company with a strong pipeline of projects to come, all typically valued up to £12m. They are looking for someone with experience in the construction industry to join their team and hit the ground running.

Some of your duties will include (but not be limited to):

• Develop, systemise, and execute the purchasing procedures
• Managing the supply chain platform
• Maintaining and improving existing Supply chain relationships along with forming new relationships
• Negotiating competitive prices with all suppliers
• Carry out periodic checks on sites in relation to material quality and supplier performance and take the necessary steps to avoid repetitive problems occurring

The ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Minimum 3 years experience as a buyer, extensive knowledge of the residential construction industry
• IT proficiency
• Accuracy in quantity surveying
• Self-motivated attitude
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
