Role Overview:

As a Bid Manager, you will play a key role in business development efforts, leading the tender process for structural new build warehouse projects. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end bid process to secure new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the tender process for structural new build warehouse projects, from pre-qualification to bid submission
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including estimating, design, and construction, to develop competitive bid proposals
  • Conduct thorough reviews of tender documentation, identifying requirements and risks
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to gather information and pricing for bids
  • Prepare high-quality bid submissions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client requirements
  • Present bid proposals to senior management for review and approval
  • Maintain bid documentation and records, including tracking of tender opportunities and outcomes
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Bid Manager in the construction industry, preferably with a focus on structural new build warehouses
  • Strong knowledge of the tender process, including pre-qualification, bid preparation, and submission
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and bid management software
